The MES100-10P is an entry-level PoE switch with 8 ports supporting 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+ and 2 x 1000Base-X SFP ports. Its PoE+ ports deliver power and data to connected devices, simplifying installation and upkeep. Designed for small to medium-sized networks, this switch combines ease of use with key management features. It supports VLAN and port isolation for network segmentation and security. Additionally, port-based QoS and bandwidth control enable resource allocation for critical applications, enhancing traffic management.
The MES100-10P supports 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet to provide 115 watts of total power budget, along with data, to remote devices over a standard twisted-pair Ethernet cable. It supports eight 1GbE PoE ports, each delivering 30W max of power.
The MES100-10P supports Spanning Tree Protocols (STP/RSTP) to ensure a loop-free network environment. It detects link failures and restores connections within seconds, enhancing network reliability and resiliency.
The switch’s reset button features 2 functions. For factory resetting the switch, press and hold the button for 6 seconds. While short pressing the button for 2 times within 6 seconds can toggle between the managed and unmanaged state. In an unmanaged state, the switch retains its configuration, but further management is disabled.
